What We Do

Praise & Worship Service

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! – Psalm 103:1

At Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship, we seek to praise and worship Jesus Christ our King of kings and Lord of lords through songs, testimony, scripture reading and sharing of the message. We are given the gift of God’s presence as we enter His courts with praise. Our service is bilingual (Tamil and English). Come let’s worship together.

Kids & Young Adult Ministry

We are focused on instilling and cultivating in our young people the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is no secret that our younger generations are under attack. We offer the tools and resources to help them fight the good fight and succeed. Kids and Young Adults are encouraged to memorize scriptures, sing songs and play musical instruments during the service, and many other activities are planned and designed around the younger generation. Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship makes young people a priority – both in word and in deed.

Music Ministry

Music has always played an important role in the worship of God’s people at Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and encourage believers in their walk with Christ. Songs are sung both in Tamil and English. It is an active and thriving ministry that involves both Adults and Young Adults coming together to play instruments and sing songs to our blessed Savior. Come experience the richness of this ministry.

Men's & Women's Prayer Meetings

Intercession is a vital part of our ministry, and we cannot wait to see the way God moves as we take our requests before Him. If you are passionate about intercessory prayer, Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship would love for you to join us in a focused and committed way as we gather once a month to pray for our church, community, country, and prayer requests. Women’s ‘Esther Breakthrough’ and Men’s ‘Warriors For Christ’ prayer meetings are actively participated by several of our members.

Spiritual Retreat, Picnic & Camping

Since 2007, Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship has been going on a yearly spiritual retreat. It’s the time when we slow down and spend some quality time relaxing and meditating on the word of God. Several men and women of God are invited to come and share the message with the congregation. Kids and adults are given opportunities to showcase their talents. Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship also organizes yearly picnic and camping trips.

Christmas Carol Rounds

Who doesn’t like Carolling? It’s the most wonderful time of the year! At Saint Louis Tamil Christian Fellowship we love to keep this tradition alive. Kids and adults pad up for the cold winter breeze and drive around visiting houses to sing Christmas carols and share the good news of our Lord’s birth. Carolling is done on weekend evenings, usually split into two to three weeks. Yummy snacks and treats are served at each location and a grand dinner at the last location finishes the evening. Over the years many of our American friends and colleagues have invited us to come and sing at their houses. Oh, what fun!
